KPSC Junior Engineer (JE) Syllabus 2022

The KPSC JE examination has a long and comprehensive syllabus; hence the questions are usually easy or moderately difficult. A candidate is expected to be thorough with the syllabus before attempting the examination on the KPSC JE exam date in 2022. Let us take a look at the syllabus mentioned below:

  • Computer skills: It also tests the computer skills of the candidate with respect to Computer Software, MS Excel- SpreadSheets, Basic Internet Usage, MS Power-Point- Presentation, Computer Fundamentals, Word Processing- MS Word, Operating Systems, Networks (LAN, WAN, MAN), Introduction to Databases, Logic Gates, History of Computers, Communication, Security Tools, Number Systems and Hardware. 
  • English: The candidate is tested in Synonyms and Antonyms, Prepositions, Sentence Completion, Vocabulary, Tenses, Verb, Reading Comprehension, Adverbs, Subject-Verb Agreement, and Word formation, among others. 
  • Kannada: The candidate is tested in Prose, Translation of Sentences, Report Writing, Precis Writing, Grammar, Comprehension Passages, Vocabulary, Idioms, Poetry, Communication Skills, Articles, Tenses, Synonyms and Antonyms, One Word Substitutions, Sentence construction, etc. 
  • Quantitative aptitude: The candidate is tested for Probability, Discounts, Problems on Ages, Simplification, Fundamental Operations, Number System, Compound Interest, Least Common Multiple (LCM), Highest Common Factor (HCF), Allegations and Mixtures, Ratios and Proportions, Profit & Loss, Basic Geometry including Circles, Partnerships, Percentages, Permutations & Combinations, Speed, Time and Distance, Exponents, Averages, Mathematical Operations, Mensuration of 2D figures, Time and Work, etc.
