Paper-I

The syllabus for paper IV consists of Hindi(Language) & English (Essay, Precis writing, Translation & Paraphrasing).
Jharkhand Judiciary Exam Pattern
- The Preliminary Entrance Test is a written exam with objective or Multiple Choice type questions. The Mains Exam and the Viva Voce Test shall follow the Preliminary Entry Test for direct recruitment to the post of Civil Judges Junior Division.
- As per the Judiciary Exam Pattern, there will be no negative marking for the wrong answers in the preliminary examination.
- In the prelims exam, candidates will be tested on general English, current affairs, general knowledge, and different law procedures. The prelims exam is conducted for 100 marks with a total time duration of 2 hours.
- The Jharkhand Judiciary Main Examination consists of four papers: Paper 1, paper 2, paper 3, and paper 4. Each paper is conducted for 100 marks. The total time duration of the exam is 3 hours.
