Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) was established on 4th April 1988. The Commission consists of a Chairman, two members, and a secretary. It is the duty of the Union and the State PSC to conduct examinations for appointments to various posts. The office of APPSC is situated at the PSC building, Vidhan Vihar, Itanagar. The Head of the Office of the Commission is the Secretary who is appointed by the Commission with the prior approval of the Governor. The functioning of the Commission is carried out by the Administration branch, Accounts branch, and Recruitment branch.
